Stuff…

Image
As I watched my husband’s family clean out my father in laws house, I contemplated all the stuff we accumulate in our lives.   The truth is, it’s just stuff and as we approach the next stage in our life, the stuff loses its charm.    All those things we worked so hard to buy really don’t mean a thing.    Especially to those that have to remove it from were we called home.  At the end of the day, people will be cleaning out our stuff, going through our stuff and deciding what to do with all of our stuff.    All this stuff we accumulated that we thought we needed.  The only thing of value that will remain are the memories and the time we took to make those memories with others in our lives.  The older I get the less stuff I tend to accumulate because I got to watch this lesson unfold in front of me.     Spend less time accumulating stuff and spend more time making memories.
